Zelle is a great service that many banks recommend to their customers to send money online. It is a simple system that allows you to send money from your bank to someone else without having to share all your banking details. While working with many banks, the company has not worked with online banks yet. In this guide, we will look at how to send money from Zelle to Chime, even though it is not legal to have Zelle’s features.
Connect Zelle to Your Bank Account
The first thing you need to do is link Zelle to your bank account. Zelle strongly restricts these two services, so we’ll have to work with the existing limitations. As mentioned above, many banks now use Zelle, but some do not. You can check if your bank works with Zelle here. If you find that your bank is inconsistent, you will need to select a different account for this process.
Once you have selected the bank account you want to link to, you need to sign up for Zelle. As part of the setup process, you will need to identify your bank account and provide certain details. The information you will need to pass on when you set up Zelle is as follows.
- Social Security number
- Address and name associated with the bank account
- Route number
- Account number
Follow the steps in the Zelle app or on the website, and you should do so to set up your account within minutes.
Link Your Bank Account to Chime
With that over, it’s time to do the same with Chime. This is very simple in the Zelle setup process. If you have not yet downloaded or created an account with Chime, you can do so here.
Once you have set up your account, you can link the bank to Chime by going to the ‘Settings’ tab and selecting the ‘Connect a Bank Account’ option. Now, you will see a list of banks that you can link to the service. Scroll down to find the bank account you want to use between Zelle and Chime, and then tap it. You will need to provide the same details here as you did with Zelle to add a bank account.
If you do not want to enter a bank account, you can instead select ‘Add Bank Card’ to Chime. To do this, you will need all the details of your card. We recommend doing this if you intend to withdraw money from the bank account associated card using your Chime card. Alternatively, add a bank account to gain more financial freedom.
Send Money Between Both
Now that you have linked both Chime and Zelle to the same bank account, you can start moving money from Zelle to Chime.
A good way to do this is to use Zelle as a recipient service. This means that you must have all the money you want to spend with Chime sent to your Zelle bank account. This way, you can deposit money into your Chime account and use it as you choose.
If you want to send money from Zelle directly to Chime, you need to contact Zelle. Many consumers out there want these two services to work, and it seems more likely that Zelle is working with a digital wallet service such as the Venmo or Cash App.
The best way to contact Zelle’s customer service and to request this service is to use their Contact Us page. The more people connect with the same application, the more likely you are to one day be able to send money from your bank account directly to Chime using Zelle.
It is not easy to send money between the two services, but it is still easy with our operation. As mentioned above, this is a popular application for online banking users. Many people who apply for Zelle’s support of Chime, will be quick to add that support. In the meantime, here’s how to take advantage of the features of each platform and make your own money.
