In this method, you have to link your Chime, and PayPal accounts to your external bank account. Now, send money from Chime to an external bank account and then send money from an external bank account to your Paypal account.

Initiate Transfer of Money from Chime on PayPal as a Bank

Step 1: To transfer money from Chime to Paypal, you need to find your chime routing number and bank account number due to your partnership with Stride Bank and The Bancorp Bank. You can use the Chime app or chime official website to find the chime routing number and account number. Here are the steps to find your chime bank details through the chime website –

Open the chime website and log in to your account.
Click on move money and then the settings option.
Now, note down your bank number and routing number.

Find Chime Account Number and Routing Number through Chime App

Open chime app.

Select move money and select the settings option.

Save your chime routing number and chime account number.

Step 2: Add Chime as A Bank on PayPal

You can add Chime as a bank on Paypal through two methods. They are –

Add Chime as a bank on PayPal through the PayPal App

You can add Chime as a bank through the Paypal app. Here are the steps you need to follow.

Open Paypal App.
Click on Settings in the upper right corner of the Paypal app.
Now, select the bank account and credit card option and press + icon.
Select the bank account and click on the go to our website.
Now, a form will open, fill in your bank details.
Now, click on the menu and select settings.
Click on money bank and cards.
Under the bank account option, click on the link to a new bank account.
Fill in your chime account details and click on continue and save your account details.

Add Chime as a bank on the PayPal Website.

You can also add Chime as a bank through the Paypal website. Here is the process to add Chime as a bank on Paypal.

Open the Paypal website and log in to your Paypal account.
Click on settings and click on the money banks and cards option.
In the bank account tab, click on the link to a new bank account.
Fill in your chime account details and click on the link to your bank account option and save your account details.

Step 3: Transfer of Funds on PayPal

There are two methods to transfer funds on Paypal. You can either send money from the Paypal app or the Paypal website.

Transfer of funds through Paypal App

Here is the process of transfer of funds on Paypal.

Open Paypal and log in to your Paypal account.
Click on Paypal balance and tab on add money.
Select your chime bank account and click on add.
Fill in the amount you want to transfer and click on continue to share amount.

Transfer of funds through Paypal Website

Open the PayPal website and log in to your account.
Click on the transfer option and add money to your balance under the money tab section.
Select Chime as the bank and enter the amount you want to transfer, and click on add.
Now, confirm the transaction by click on the amount.

Transfer Money to your PayPal Cash Card from your Chime Account

You need to follow the steps to transfer money to your Paypal cash card from your chime account.

Verify Your PayPal Account

To verify your Paypal account, you need to enter your email address, name, and contact number. There are two ways to verify your Paypal account. They are –

Link your debit card, credit card, or bank account.
You can apply for a Paypal credit card.

You need to Request a PayPal Cash Card.

Here is the process to request a Paypal cash card.

Open the Paypal cash card page and click on the get the card option.
Now, log in to your Paypal account and tab on more on the lower right corner of the app.
Click on order a cash card option and confirm your address for the Paypal cash card delivery.

Activate PayPal Cash Card

It will take 7-10 days for the Paypal cash card delivery. You can activate the Paypal cash card through these steps.

Log in to your Paypal account and open the Paypal cash card activation page.
Fill in your Paypal cash card expiry date and click on activate the card.
