They are, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. It is considered as one of the main hubs for Hindu religious travel and one should visit the holy places at least once in a lifetime.

Char Dham Yatra Tour
The best time for the tour is from April to October. The char dham yatra tour starts from the west and ends in the east. The tour starts from the Yamunotri dham and then to Gangotri, then the next stop is Kedarnath and then Badrinath.
Yamunotri Pilgrimage Tour
Yamunotri temple is devoted to the goddess Yamuna. It is the major stream of the river Yamuna. The holy shrine is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters in the Uttarakashi district of Garhwal Mandal region in Uttarakhand.
The source of river Yamuna is (Champasar Glacier) of Kalind Mountain at a height of 4,421 m.
The temple is constructed by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal who was the king of Tehri Garhwal.
Gangotri Pilgrimage Tour
Gangotri temple is devoted to the goddess Ganga. It is the major stream of the river Ganga. The holy shrine is situated at an altitude of 3,100 meters above sea level in the Uttarakashi district of Garhwal Mandal region in Uttarakhand.
It is known as Bhagirathi from the source and in Devpryag when it meets Alaknanda, it became Ganga. The temple was built by a Nepali Amar Singh Thapa.
Places to visit near Gangotri
Bhagirath Shila: It is believed that this is the holy rock on which King Bhagirath prayed to Lord Shiva.
Pandava Gufa: It is believed to be the place where Pandavas rested in the route to Kailash. It is a 1.5-kilometer trek to Pandava Gufa.
Kedarnath Pilgrimage Tour
Kedarnath is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva. It is located near the Mandakini river an altitude of 3,583 m meters above sea level in the Rudraprayag district of Garhwal Mandal region in Uttarakhand.
To reach Kedarnath, you need to trek 22 kilometers from Ukhimath to Gaurikund. It is also known as the part of panch Kedar. Panch Kedar includes Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Kalpeshwar, and Madhyamaheshwar.
Badrinath Pilgrimage Tour
Badrinath is a Hindu holy temple devoted to Lord Vishnu. It is also part of the bigger circuit of the Char Dham Yatra. The temple was built by Adi Shankra Charya. The temple is located near the Alaknanda river in the Chamoli district of Garhwal Mandal region in Uttarakhand.
Char Dham Yatra takes place every year from April to October. The rest of the month’s temples are closed due to heavy rainfall.
