In your web browser, go to the Yahoo login page and log in to your Yahoo Mail account, for which you wish to set up default email sending.
Once signed in to your Yahoo Mail account, click the Gear icon in the top right corner of your screen. A drop-down menu will appear on your screen.
From the drop-down menu that appears on your screen, click on “More Settings,” and you’ll be directed to the Settings section of your Yahoo Mail account.
In the settings window, you’ll need to click on the Mailboxes option on the left panel.
In the Mailbox settings, select your Yahoo Mail account and scroll down to the Transfer section.

As you click on the Confirm button, you will receive the following message on your screen – “This email address is waiting for verification. Please follow the instructions sent to firstname.lastname@example.org”.
